Not a lot of time will be spent on learning plays that won't benefit athletes in the future. MN Swish teams will have intense practices with a focus on skill development and improving game situation knowledge.

Although there is no fee to tryout, we will need a commitment by that night by paying the full team fee that you are willing to play on a team if selected. Includes Jersey, Shorts, and Warm-up Shirt which are all yours to keep after the season.
SWISH BASKETBALL REGISTRATION
We will take input on practice scheduling from online registration forms or you may bring to tryouts a list of dates to avoid having practices.Ĭost is $650.00 per player (no fee to tryout) Typically 2 practices per week or possibly just one if there isn't a tournament the upcoming weekend or player schedules dictate. There will be at least 12 practices throughout the season. Team practices will be in the following area schools & gyms: Waconia, Victoria, Chaska, and Chanhassen The TEAM page abov e has an example of what 2017 Swish teams played at each age level. Most tournaments are 2-day (both Sat and Sun) events with 3 or 4 games guaranteed. Athlete tournament availability will be collected on the online sign-up form. Level of competition considerations will also be taken into account.some teams may play in other events based on the abilities of the team and division level entry options for each tournament. I then noticed that almost all of New York didn't have nets on the courts, and I didn't think that was fun or fair so I ran a successful GoFundMe fundraiser with the help of my friends and family. The Freedom Swish Indestructible Basketball Nets were born when a middle school basketball court playground didn't have any nets on them, and I couldn't find a solution that didn't hurt the kids hands and wouldn't be stolen or torn down.
